THESIS: The use of guerrilla warfare in the Revolutionary War was a turning point in history by changing the style in which war was fought, using smaller numbers of men more efficiently,
Prior to this sly method of war, a lot more lives were taken due to the way that battles were fought. There would be two armies that essentially faced each other and fired at will onto one another. Once one side retreated or was completely dead, the other army was then victorious. However, the armed militia men wised up, and began to hide behind trees, behind rock retaining walls, and behind fences. The idea behind this method is that the British could not kill them if they could not see them.
